Some feelings have a smell. We built a machine that plays them back.
Reverie started with a question we couldn't shake: why does one breath of cut grass, or maple syrup, or line-dried cotton, move people more than a whole photo album? Science has an answer — smell is the only sense wired almost directly into the brain's memory and emotion centers. Marketing had an answer too — candles named "Ocean Breeze." We thought both deserved better.
The fireplace that plays memories
The Hearth looks like a small fireplace because that's what a fire is — the original place where people sat down, slowed down, and remembered. But there's no fire in it. A whisper-quiet ultrasonic mist rises in the shape of a flame, glowing embers light the log window, and the scent you chose fills the room. Wave your hand through the flame. It's cool. That's the point: all of the feeling, none of the risk.
Scents with somewhere to go
We don't blend "fresh" or "floral." We blend destinations. Every Reverie bottle is built from a real, researched American memory — the backyard sprinkler, Sunday pancakes, sheets dried in wind, the street after rain — and a second line of Moods engineered for one outcome: switching your day off. Two drops in water. Ten quiet minutes. You're somewhere else.
Honest by design
We're a small team and we'd rather earn trust slowly than fake it fast. So: the product photos on this site show the actual machine we ship. The reviews will only ever be from real customers. The flame is mist and we say so everywhere. And if The Hearth doesn't take you somewhere in your first 30 nights, send it back — that's the whole policy.
